On the 15th March 2022, Ron and Adam will depart the Tokyo Ajinomoto Stadium in Japan for the start of a 208 day, 16,500km, 14 country bicycle ride to Auckland, New Zealand for the opening game of Rugby World Cup 2021.
Race To RWC 2023
In what will be the 4th iteration of Ron Rutland's cycling challenges from one RWC to the next, will collect the whistle for the opening game of France 2023 in Auckland, at the conclusion of the New Zealand 2021 tournament in November 2022.
He will then embark on a 25,000km, 32 country journey through South, Central and North America, before heading across to the UK and ultimately onto France for the opening game between France and New Zealand on 8th September 2023.
Once again, he will be raising funds for the ChildFund Rugby.

2019 also saw DHL start their support of ChildFund in their vital work in helping to grow the game of rugby.
The ChildFund Pass It Back program is a world leader when it comes to using sport as a tool to drive social change, and in demonstrating the long-term impact that the program has on individuals and their communities.
DHL Express partners with ChildFund to bring their Rugby program to more children and youth across the South East Asia region, giving them the opportunity to learn valuable life skills.
